MJHS Employees Gather to raise money

Established over 30 years ago, the EGC allows MJHS staff to build on our history of supporting essential programs that benefit our patients and their families by giving back. Since its establishment, MJHS employees have raised over $2.9 million! 

  • Where the Need is Greatest: Donations will go wherever they are needed throughout the MJHS Health System. 
  • Pediatric Hospice Fund—This fund supports our youngest patients and their families in accessing programs that go beyond everyday care, such as Creative Art Therapy and Pastoral Care.
  • Music & Dementia Care at Menorah Center: MJHS Menorah Center uses music therapy to manage the symptoms of patients with dementia. However, it is not covered by insurance. Your donations will help continue the program so residents and families can continue to benefit from its effects. 
  • UJA Federation of NY (external). UJA is a longstanding supporter and partner of MJHS. UJA provides support, guidance and funding to social service and health care organizations addressing poverty, food insecurity, hospice, domestic violence, care for older adults, immigrant programming and childcare.
  • New York Urban League (external). Founded in 1910, the National Urban League is a historic civil rights organization dedicated to economic empowerment, equality and social justice. Its New York affiliate provides local services and advocacy to close the achievement gap in education, promote economic self-reliance and advance the rights of African Americans and other historically underserved groups.
