Continuing a Legacy of Compassion.
At MJHS, remembering those who have passed through prayer and charitable giving is one way to honor a loved one’s life and legacy.
For many families, our hospice and palliative care programs offered peace, dignity and comfort during a loved one’s final days.
Christian commemoration provides a deeply personal way to remember a life well lived and provide comfort through faith.
Ways to Honor Your Loved One
In the Christian tradition, remembrance is rooted in hope—the promise of eternal life and the reunion that awaits. Memorial prayers and rituals provide opportunities to express gratitude for a loved one’s life and offer comfort through faith.
In line with MJHS’s mission of caring for people of all faiths and backgrounds, MJHS clergy are available to offer prayer and reflection for your loved one. This service is available to all who need it.
- Remembrance Devotion: Through Remembrance Devotion, clergy will pray for you and your departed loved one and share meaningful scripture. Your loved one will also be remembered in prayer on the one-year anniversary of their passing—honoring their life and reflecting on the legacy they left behind.
- Tribute Prayers: Through Tribute Prayers, clergy will pray for you and your departed loved one and recite scripture passages that offer peace, hope and reflection.
- Prayer Observance: Through Prayer Observance, clergy will pray for you and your departed loved one, offering spiritual support while honoring their memory.
The Impact of Your Gift
