YOUR GIFT IN ACTION

Holiday Joy and Celebrations

The holidays are a time filled with delicious foods and family traditions. And though the holidays may be a bit different this year, it is still important we find ways to continue to celebrate and connect with our loved ones. That is why our team at Menorah Center wanted to make sure that the spring holidays were extra special for our residents.

For Passover, our Rabbi visited with residents and hosted a socially distanced Seder, complete with listening to the Passover story, singing the holiday songs, and sharing fond memories. Our residents enjoyed Shmurah Matzah, matzo ball soup, charoset, and more favorite holiday treats during the week.

For Easter, our residents received an Easter egg with a surprise mini stuffed bear inside and a prayer card. Those that reside in our Memory Care Residence also enjoyed dying eggs in bright colors, making yarn Easter chicks and decorating baskets with wheatgrass that they grew themselves.

Because of generous donors like you, we can provide pastoral care and special holiday programs like these for our residents. Thank you for bringing holiday joy and celebration this spring!

Honoring Our Clinicians

In honor of National Nurses Month, we're highlighting the Circle of Caring program at MJHS . Since its inception in 2021, grateful families have honored over 115 MJHS clinicians - nurses, doctors, pastoral care, therapists, social workers, and staff, who have dedicated their lives to helping others.

Honoring Veterans at the End of Life

Our music therapy and veteran services are only possible thanks to philanthropic support from donors like you. Thank you for helping us provide compassionate, expert care for our patients and their families.

“Every single day I thank MJHS doctors, nurses, social workers, as well as the chaplain and music therapist for their compassion, care and being our life saver.”
