Robert was living without heat for three days in the middle of a cold winter in New York. His heat was shut off after he was unable to pay his bill. When our MJHS Hospice social worker heard this, she immediately purchased him a space heater through our MJHS Patient Care Fund. After the heater was delivered to his apartment the next day, Robert was finally able to rest comfortably in his home.
